Okay....so yeah he's cute but in one day we discovered: he doesn't pee, he can actually get out of his crate (dogs do wet their crates by the way), he will play in the crate and then leave it and drop on the floor and sleep there, he has an incredibly loud bark/whine when the crate is shut and most importantly of all: he's so cute! We had trainer lady visit us today, and shared with us her pearls of wisdom, 99% of which made perfect sense (exceptin' the part about wetting the crate don't you know), but as long as it makes sense, I'm on board. Until she arrived, Cody was very docile and though extremely friendly was not stimulated by toys. Then trainer lady came and made him really like his toys. We went out and bought all the ones she brought with her.
So we're looking forward with some fear and trepidation to a night of high pitched whining and barking and four very tired and very grumpy people tomorrow...stay tuned.
